Protecting Sibling Relationships in Foster Care Act

This bill requires the Administration for Children and Families to establish a competitive pilot grant program for foster care agencies to increase the placement of siblings together in foster care, specifically sibling groups of three or more siblings, sibling groups with a wide age range, and sibling groups with, or that include a youth with, complex needs.

Grant funds must be used to develop specialized foster care programs that (1) are designed to identify available placements for, and place together, such sibling groups; and (2) are evidence-based and proven to substantially increase joint sibling placements.
